This square oil painting depicts an upper corner of the Wentworth Mansion in Charleston, SC.   The in is in operation but dates to 1886. The Wentworth Inn and Mansion is amongst the most iconic structures in the Charleston historic district.  It was built for the 1st Marquess of Rockingham and is currently renovated and operates as a fine inn and hotel.  It’s orange roof and expansive porches are distinguishable within the city.

This painting is framed in a mahogany colored plein air style frame with a gold liner, it measures 18 x 18”.

Tuesday – Friday from Noon to 5 pm, First Friday open until 8 pm; Weekends from 11 am to 5 pm. Closed Mondays. Parking available on site or behind the library.
