Study With Kathy Armstrong

Virtual and In-Person Classes

Virtual: Kathy began teaching virtually when the pandemic hit and now, with some students from out of state, decided to continue a class that way. Using the Zoom platform she and the participants interact just as though they were in-person, with demos (easier to see), lessons from her computer, critiques and individual feedback on each participant’s painting. Students can work at their own pace and choose to participate in particular practices or not, as they choose. CONTACT KATHY DIRECTLY IF INTERESTED.

In-Person: Kathy teaches in-person watercolor classes at the Spiegel Community Center, 35 Lincoln Avenue, Pittsford. Registration is directly through the Center and you don’t have to be a resident to sign up. Basic to intermediate watercolor techniques are covered and demonstrated, as well as color-mixing, and how to achieve various results. During the course, students work on paintings of their choice with individual guidance as needed. All levels of experience are welcome.  REGISTRATION IS THROUGH THE PITTSFORD REC DEPARTMENT.

For information on specific upcoming classes check out the Classes page of Kathy's website.
